Traces of You

 

Originally conceptualized as a series of images that explore the invisible imprints that people leave behind in hotel rooms, I am currently reworking this work to reflect upon my initial reaction to inhabiting these places.

​Shortly after starting the work, I realized that while occupying the spaces I was quickly drawn to think about the absence of a relationship in my life and the memory of a lost loved one. Therefore, what initially started as a series will be expanded and transformed into narratives that portray each space being utilized as a stage where I allow myself to indulge in the memory of a far-gone relationship.
